Our commitment to GDPR

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is the new EU privacy regulation and the biggest change in data protection legislation over the last 20 years. The GDPR replaces Privacy Directive 95/46/EF and strengthens the rights of EU citizens with regard to their own personal data.

SeaSpection values ​​the privacy of customers and employees. We are committed to acting in accordance with GDPR and will be ready when new data protection legislation comes into effect no earlier than July 1, 2018. To get there, SeaSpection will improve its entire data protection.

In connection with the GDPR project, SeaSpection has evaluated all privacy-related areas of SeaSpection in accordance with the requirements of GDPR.

  • Surveyed and analyzed all systems containing personal data to make them ready for GDPR
  • Implemented new data processes
  • Adjusted processing processes for personal data - services, IT, sales, marketing and HR - and made them ready for the introduction of GDPR
  • Evaluated services that process customers' personal information in order to implement necessary data processing agreements
  • Evaluated suppliers and subcontractors for the implementation of necessary data processing agreements

Parallel to the implementation of GDPR, SeaSpection has evaluated its entire infrastructure to ensure the best possible security for personal data. GDPR awareness training has been conducted in SeaSpection.
