The built-in ROV autopilot function follows pre-set vector-based mapping waypoints measured against collected DVL data when an optional DVL system is integrated. Designed for semi-autonomous ROV operation, the standard autopilot function integrates complex GPS and DVL technology with a simple vector-based mapping interface, enabling ROV missions executed accurately by the system.

EIGHT THRUSTERS
The Oceanus Ultimate ROV system features a unique eight-thruster vectorized configuration that enables various ROV movements, including sustained underwater pitch and roll maneuverability. Tilting the ROV nose forward or backward greatly enhances its ability to effectively use built-in camera systems, manipulator arms, sonar systems, and other attachments. Roll maneuverability allows for effective navigation in tight spaces, while the Auto Stabilize feature locks the ROV’s current position when optimal positioning is critical during dive missions.
